The difference is in the COMPOSITION & EMOTIONAL RESPONSE.

THE COMPOSITION

Often a 'Decorative Art' painting has three elements.

A horizon

A landscape area

A sky area

It may often be quite simple but colourful.

THE CONTENT

Will generally require No emotional response

THE FUNCTION OF DECORATIVE ART

To 'Decorate'

Decorative Art is often great in corporate spaces. Because it is cheerful and requires no long gazes, no interpretation and no emotional response.

It's 'throw away' It's fun. It's cheerful and it's for passing by.

That's good, you don't want your employees standing looking and interpreting a painting when they should be working!

You will probably just want colour and shape in your office, hotel, restaurant or public space.

Something light and fun.

Decorative art has its place.

Our artists create 'decorative art' when they are given a specification to liven up a corporate space.
